Terms of Service

1.Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

2.Early access and changes to the Service

Ravox is offered as an early-access product. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. We may set or adjust usage limits, including the scope of free previews and paid plans.

3.Your content and the rights you grant

You retain all ownership of the manuscripts, text, and materials you upload (“Your Content”). You grant Ravox a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, analyze, and convert Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — including generating, editing, mastering, and delivering audio.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content and that processing it through the Service does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate any law.

4.AI-generated output

The Service uses automated systems and third-party AI to generate audio from Your Content. As between you and Ravox, the audio output generated from Your Content is yours to use, subject to these Terms, your plan, and the terms of the underlying AI and voice providers.

AI output may contain errors, mispronunciations, or artifacts. You are responsible for reviewing output before publishing or distributing it.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not own or have the rights to use.
• Use the Service to create unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.
• Clone or imitate a real person’s voice without their authorization.
• Disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the Service.

6.Plans, previews, and payment

Previews are available at no cost so you can evaluate quality. Producing full chapters and complete audiobooks requires a paid subscription or plan. Fees, billing cycles, and what each plan includes are shown before you purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7.Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, models, and branding — is owned by Ravox and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the right to use it as permitted here.

8.Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting, AI and text-to-speech, and payments). Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

9.Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet your specific requirements.

10.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ravox will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 100 if you have paid nothing).

11.Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ravox is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
