• Waitlist and contact details — when you request early access or contact us, we collect your email address and anything you choose to send us.
• Account information — if you create an account, we collect your name, email, and authentication details.
• Manuscripts and project content — the manuscripts and text you upload (for example EPUB, DOCX, TXT, or PDF files), along with the voice casting, settings, and direction choices you configure.
• Payment information — if you subscribe, payments are handled by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

2.Information we collect automatically

• Usage and analytics data — pages visited, features used, interactions, and outgoing link clicks, measured through a privacy-focused analytics provider (OpenPanel).
• Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.

3.How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Analyze your manuscripts and generate, edit, and deliver audio.
• Personalize your experience and improve our features.

4.AI processing and third-party providers

Producing an audiobook involves automated analysis of your text and speech synthesis. To do this, we use trusted third-party AI and text-to-speech providers (such as ElevenLabs and OpenAI). The portions of your content needed to generate audio are sent to these providers and processed under their security and privacy commitments.

We do not sell your personal information or your manuscripts, and we do not use your private manuscripts to train publicly available AI models.

5.How we share information

We share information only with: service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, AI and text-to-speech, and payments) under confidentiality obligations; authorities when required by law or to protect our rights; and a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We never sell your data.

6.Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can ask us to delete your manuscripts, generated audio, and account data at any time, subject to any retention we are legally required to maintain.

7.Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

8.Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. 9.Cookies

We use essential cookies — for example, to keep you signed in and protect your session. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features (like staying signed in) may not work without them.

10.Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11.International users

Ravox operates online and may process your data in countries other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for international data transfers.
